Vorob'ev, Oleg Mikhailovich
Oleg Mikhailovich was interviewed three times by Olga Blinkina, in September 2004, February
and May 2005. He talks in depth about his grandparents, his family in Tbilisi, the role
of religion in his family, and about his parents before their arrest. He recalls the elaborate
arrangements that were made by his grandparents and other relatives to hide him and his
sister from the NVKD. He talks about the problems of bullying which he suffered from schoolfriends
and neighbours' children in the yard of the housing block where he lived with his grandparents.
In the final interview he gives a detailed commentary on the letters he received from his
